Perfect Weather for Gardening

Coach Hubs and I have been living together for over ten years now.  And I've noticed lately just how accustomed I have gotten to him doing all of the...well basically all of the shit i don't want to do.  You know- change light bulbs, pick up dog shit, steam the floors, take care of the backyard, feed the dog, drag stuff down from the attic, put the ladder away.  I'm basically one step short of being that wife who can't work the remote control.  Ya, you know that wife.  Or ARE you that wife???  Hmmmmmmmm.

Anyway, he's been sick for the last week (i blame football, i always blame football) and we had gardening to get done.  just who did he think was going to dig all those holes?  In the dirt.  Who?  Me? I'm usually just the director- a facilitator, if you will.  I. Don't. Dig.

But after keeping the kids inside for the last two days I figured I would change things up a bit today and take them out to the front lawn.  To garden.  WHAT?  Kids love to dig holes (see how i got out of that one?),  I'm a genius.

Anyway we had a great time, mainly because i wasn't sweating donkey balls, like i usually am.
It was the perfect weather for gardening.  We put 3 new plants in the ground and transferred one of our palms to a planter.

And I did it all by myself!

good nite.
